Rockstar have finally annouced GTA IV is coming to PC! Talk about keeping us in suspenders. Fantastic news, especially for those of us without a PS3/Xbox 360!

18th November US, 21st November Europe are the release dates, which is surprisingly soon after the announcement. You'd expect them to get us salivating for months in advance.

We wait with bated breath once again.

So as you may have noticed, the site is somewhat dormant. Many reasons for this, mainly my work and my lack of time to do GTA type mods.

And it's because I'm busy and elsewhere mostly that I managed to not post this yesterday! Bah. 27th May 1998 Get That Azzhole! opened its doors for the very first time. Yup, my site is a decade old. Can't be too many games related sites out there that can boast that. So hurrah.

Big thanks to all the people who still visit, despite the lack of updates. I'd like to think it's still a valuable resource for those brave few souls still modding the old GTAs.

Also a big thanks to Rockstar. Sounds naff I know, but they have genuinely been massive suporters of this site (and of course the community as a whole) over the years. They're far more active in the community that most games producers, and I'm sure if it wasn't for people causing bother with certain code unlocking they might be more so. Either way they're still a decent bunch of blokes who just happen to like clubing hookers to death and stealing their money. And frankly who doesn't? Friday's can get a mite slow..

I'm not sure how much longer this site will be around, for reasons documented in the forums, but I hope to keep the useful information online in some form, and possibly find another home for the cars database. I'll try and keep people updated.

Heya. So you may have already heard, but GTA IV has been delayed a bit.

Lots of financial mumblings I don't fully understand, but the end result is this press statement says GTAIV is planned for release in fiscal 08. No mention of a PC release, but let's hope that falls in 09

Personally I think this is a good thing, gives them more time to get it right. Though to be fair it's not Rockstar's track record to rush something and release it half baked. Very keen to see the finished game, so at least I've got a bit more time to make friends with someone who has an xbox 360!

Just got an email in from Rock* about their new site, http://www.wkttradio.com, We Know The Truth Talk Radio. All sounds like a typical Rock* promo splash like we got for GTA3?

Except then you read the terms and conditions and it says "The Promotion involves the recording of voicemail messages which may be used in a video game, such as GRAND THEFT AUTO IV developed by Rockstar Games, Inc. "

Which is frankly f'king awesome. Ring the number, have a rant, get in GTA IV. Does make me wonder if they've ever read our forums, and if they had are we really the type of nutjobs they want in their game? Apparently so.

Heya. Er, yeah long time no news blah blah. etc. I keep meaning to come and give this place a kick up the whatsit, but since the only part that really changes is what's happening in the forums, seems kind of pointless trying to falsify content. Perhaps if Delfi's TDC is as good as it looks to be we'll start supporting that as well as the GTA series? Just a thought.

Anywho, Bryan just pointed out (though to be fair I think someone told me months ago, but you know, brain relapse), you can't submit cars using Firefox. Not quite sure why, something to do with the file form doodad I think, but since the upload script is written in Perl CGI, kind of quaint now huh, I can't fix it. I very almost have a php version ready to go, but keep getting distracted by other things.

So yeah, upload cars, do it in IE for now please. Sorry, as a Firefox user myself I know it sucks, but meh, what ya going to do?
